Tyler goes camping with the Scout to Olsen's cabin
Tyler and the rest of the scouts (about 15) went camping this week up to the Olsen's cabin. I would of had more pictures, but my battery went dead. This is a shot of the kids playing a card game. They stayed up until 1:00 and got up early.

We love winter
It is amazing where you can find blessings. Two days ago Julie was home afterwork and she heard a great rush of some kind and noise in the garage. She opened the door to see water pouring out of the ceiling onto our truck. Now, you are probably saying to yourself, "Where is the blessing"? Well, yes a pipe did break and water leaked all over, but here is the best part. Had the pipe broken one or two feet in the other direction our livingroom would have had some serious damage and we probably would have lost our big screen tv. We are blessed.

http://www.hygienekits.webs.com
Well, it is finally here, our new website www.hygienekits.webs.com. I hope you take a minute and check it out. Our family is really excited about our new long term project. As you will see by reading this blog and visiting the new website we have as a family started on a long term service project and we hope you will join us. Our initial goal will be to donate 25 hygiene kits a month or more to the LDS Humanitarian Center for those in need around the world. We had such a great time as family making kits for Christmas that we have decided to extend it to every month of the year and we are going to get as many of you to donate as possible. Here's to dreaming.
Apostle Joseph B. Worthlin said, "Nothing you do makes much of a difference if you do not have charity. You can speak with tongues, have the gift of prophecy, understand all mysteries, and possess all knowledge; even if you have the faith to move mountains, without charity it won't profit you at all...."Without charity—or the pure love of Christ—whatever else we accomplish matters little. With it, all else becomes vibrant and alive."When we inspire and teach others to fill their hearts with love, obedience flows from the inside out in voluntary acts of self-sacrifice and service"
After all we have been given it is time for our family to exercise a little bit of charity.
