2009 Christmas Family Home Evening

A family tradition has been born. During one family home evening in December for the last few years the Rusnell family makes "graham cracker" gingerbread houses and then spends the next few days eating them. This is the fruit of our labor. Enjoy!

Jordan Opening His B-Day Card

Happy Birthday Jordan

Jordan turns 10 years old today. We are so happy to have Jordan (JoJo) in our lives and family. He brings a sparkle to every place he goes. Here is a picture of Jordan eating his birthday breakfast and video of him opening his birthday card(s). When I got up this morning a I asked Jordan what he wanted and he said, eggs with turkey and cheese. Oh, he wanted toast too. So that is what he got. Apparently it was pretty good cause he ate it all.

Ward Halloween and Chili Cookoff Party

The family had a great time at the annual Ward Halloween and Chili cook off party. Once again, the Rusnell family took home the "best chili" award. Tyler has now won the contest for best chili two years running. The other pictures are from friends in the ward. A great time was had by all.

A beautiful time of year

This is an incredible time of year. The colors are amazing all evidence of our Creator. This picture was taken next to our local ward building. The contrast between the red and green is amazing. I just happened to have my camera with me and took this photo.

10/10/2009 Black Forest Farms

Well we made our annual trek out to Black Forest Farms where we have gone for the last three years. The kids have a great time and and if it weren't for mom and dad they would have stayed there all night. The kids have such a blast riding the tractor and going out into the fields to find their very own pumpkin. It usually takes Lauren or Tyler the longest. Lauren usually starts with the cutest or smallest, but then once she sees the boys grabbing a big one she then changes her mind. Dad gets to be the lucky one that cares them.

The kids took advantage of nearly every activity. They played in a big box of corn, went down the slides that were built on large bales of stray, rode the seesaw, played on the old tires that were buried partly in the ground (the boys liked this the most) and just about everything else. Mom and dad had a blast watching them enjoy themselves.
