Summer Camping Trip

The family took a big trip to Southern Utah with some close friends to go camping. The pictures speak for themselves. The kids are hanging out near Brian Head ski resort - so beautiful. We also went to Sandhollow (little lake powell) the kids had a great time jumping off the cliffs. The cliffs must of been about 30 to 40 feet high.

A new picture of the family (just before church)

I thought it was time to post a picture of the entire family. We are off to church.

Lauren love her bappa

Whenever bappa comes to visit you can bet Lauren will spend a lot of time with him. She often says she wants to go live with he and grandma Rusnell. Bappa always gets lots of hugs and kisses from Lauren.

Tyler our guitar hero

Tyler has been playing the piano for the last few years and we promised him that if he continued to focus on the piano after a few years he could learn to play the guitar. This is a great picture of him taken by his grandpa Rusnell.

Tyler earns his Star

This last week Tyler earned several merit badges and was awarded with the rank of Star in the Boy Scouts. The pictures are from an outdoor court of honor for a couple of scouts in his troop that received their eagle. We are very proud of Tyler for his effort. Tyler was also involved in one of the funniest scout skits of the night. That is shaving cream on his head, don't ask me why just trust me it was funny.

Family Night at the drive in

It has been years since I have been to a drive in.  Julie and I decided to take the kids to the local drive in theater and see a movie. Unfortunately most of the movies were rated R, but there was one the kids could see and that was Star Wars "Clone Wars". We put one of our 6' Love Sacs in the back of the truck and a couple of camping chairs, tossed in some blankets and made ourselves at home. We had a great time. As you can see we had to bundle up. There was a storm that came through, we didn't get wet, but it was a bit cold. We had a great time and think we will go back soon. The cost was a bit steep $27 for the family, but most people watch two movies and we only stayed for one. We had a lot of fun. It was very interesting to just who goes to the drive in these days, lets just say there were a lot of weirdos.
